Sophia is an half -caste and she has been with Lanre for some time. The two believe this is the best time to formalise their union.
The Chief Bridesmaid was Katia Kumar while the Best Man was Adeniyi Akadiri. The Bride Maids list included star actress,Dakore Egbuson (In fact she caught the bouquet and Olu Harry Akande later told http://www.niyitabiti.blogspot.com/ not to worry because marriage may come sooner than expected.
Others are Safiya Ibrahim,Sola Adewunmi (daugher of Chief Niyi Adewunmi, the top aide of Chief Mike Adenuga of Globacom),Abebi Akerele and Vicky Monyah.
On the groom side, we had the likes of Olumide Osoba (son of former governor of Ogun State,Aremo Olusegun Osoba),Lare Ajagun,Shobuleola Ogunlesi,Olayi and Idris Okoya.
We gathered got her gown from Milano in Italy.Sophia's hair was doine by Supreme Salon.Guess what?Taofeek Okoya, the groom's brother did the decoration (The guy is also into doll making)
This is so so appauling, sophia's parents gave their daughter's hand in marriage at her husband's house. WHEN MONEY TALKSSSSSSSSSSS
ReplyDeleteMy sincere regards. It is interesting to note that haven come of age, you have chosen to be formally and properly married. I believe your marriage will be a shinning example considering your humble pedigree.wishing you and your family God's protection and mercies
Deletesamething I was thinking, I rather go rent a hall.
ReplyDeleteNiyi nice stuff mister...promise to always link to your blog hope you would do same. keep it up mister and stay true to your craft
ReplyDeletelol @ the first comment. They should have done it at a hall ke. Well then again shebi the Babe is "half caste", so maybe one of the parents isnt in to the culture. someone shoulda educated them.
ReplyDeleteNiyi, have you thought about putting up like product sections for ur blog? as in let others pay money for u to advertise their prodcuts? Just a revenue generator for u.
U can pay me later when ur idea hits.lol.
I can't wait for my mummy to come from Lasgidi and give me plenty of gist of the show down.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand why that man always does every party at his backyard. This is what happens when a man rules everyone and everything in his household.
Niyi's description was confusing. Okoya himself just married. This is disgusting: having kids at the same time that ur grandchildren are being born. and why did it take place at the husband's house...
ReplyDeleteNo pun or disrespect intended, but I think the word "half caste" is not deemed appropriate anymore. Mixed race is the term now.
ReplyDeleteNice blog. Keep up the good job.
Okoya and backyard parties, I hope there's no hidden agenda. We are Africans so we must take time o!
ReplyDeleteThis rich guys should do philantrophy. Feed the masses with half the food at that party and you will be blessed.

ReplyDeleteNice one Niyi, but Oba Tejuosho is the Osile of Oke Ona in Abeokuta not of Egbaland.
ReplyDelete@Anon- That is one of the funniest comments i have ever read. Me have a crush on Bisola, I guess My camera has a crush on her not me.lol
ReplyDelete@BunmiOdunowo- Thanks for your comment but to keep record straight- Oke Ona is actually known as Egba Oke Ona because they are part and parcel of Egbaland.
Abeokuta is also known as Egbaland. You can never hear anything like 'Abeokutaland'.Abeokuta is a modern name for the capital because of the presence of Olumo Rock.So the reference made to Oba Tejuosho is very correct.
