Africa soccer legend,Mr. Kanu Nwankwo has written his name in gold in the heart of many aspiring supermodels in Nigeria.Latest gist about the former Arsenal player show that he has thrown his weight behind the 2011 edition of Nigeria Next Supermodel. THE ROAD TO NIGERIA NEXT SUPERMODEL 2011 CONTEST...

On 20 November 2011, all roads will lead to Nigeria Next Supermodel contest. To say, Joan Okorodudu, the 53 year old founder/creative director of the annual model contest is excited is an understatement.   This year's edition is going to be bigger and better, she said, at a press conference that took place this October at GET Arena, Lekki.  This year, several notable brands have pulled their weights behind Nigeria Next Supermodel contest. The sponsors include Swarovski,First Group, Virgin Atlantic,L'oreal Paris,Red Bull, Bank of Industry (BOI) and others.  The organizers also used the occasion for the final selection of the contestants.Past contestants/winners of NNSM such as Aishetu Bello, Bunmi Ademokoya and others have taken part in various international fashion shows in different parts of the world.  NNSM is expected to hold at Oriental Hotel,Victoria Island.

Sources very close to the 52 year old Okorodudu told gistmaster.com that she has already made up her mind to retire as the boss of Isis after this year's edition of Nigeria Next Supermodel. JOAN OKORODUDU,NNSM BOSS HITS MEGA SPONSORSHIP DEAL

Joan Okorodudu the hardworking founder of Nigeria next supermodel is jubilating at the moment. Sources hinted gistmaster that the 50 something year old woman Mrs Okorodudu just landed a maga sponsorship deal with an european based international company .   Gistmaster gathered that the company's top executives were satisfied with recordings of past editions of NNSM so they decided that they would be involved in this year's edition.   Gistmaster got through to Mrs. Okorodudu in London this weekend and she confirmed that it is true but she does not want to go into further details for now.   The NNSM boss was in Beirut, Lebanon where winner of Nigeria Next Supermodel 2010 contested for the best model of the world few weeks ago before she headed for London where she attended the Africa Fashion Week and Fabs Style night.
