The much talk about rift between fast rising musician, Konga and members of the popular group-Project has been settled.
The quarrel started when the Konga’s name was missing on the first set of the Sierra Naija album. The album featured the hit track ‘Lorile’ and it won the Hip Hop Song of the Year at the last Nigeria Music Award in Imo State, Nigeria.
Konga confirmed that the rift has been settled. According to him, there is bound to be misunderstanding but the whole thing has been resolved. Members of X-Project confirmed the gist but they blamed the omission of Konga’s name from the album cover the printer's omission. "It was not as if we never wanted to give Konga credit for his contribution toward the success of the album but the name was omitted by the printer",they explained.
Meanwhile, www.niyitabiti.blogspot.com gathered that preparation is in top gears for the celebration of the award. Tagged ‘Lorile Night’, the event has been fixed for 21 June 2008.The venue is Reloaded on Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, Lagos.
Information at http://www.niyitabiti.blogspot.com/ disposal show top artistes such as Ruggedman, 9ice and DJ Chascolee would be there to thrill fans. For those who have been away fon Nigeria for long,Reloaded used to be known as 11:45 when it was handled by Ahmed Uhubetine only.Right now,Akeem Shodehinde seems to be the most visible person operating the club.

  1. Didn't even know there's a beef going on btw them. But does it matter if his name was missing from the album sleeve?

I remember 11:45. When i went home in 2004, i was told it was the IT club then. I even wanted to go then, but that nite, it was closed.
