ReplyDeleteThis guy deserves more awards. Imagine that more than any other chief executive in the country Ladi is romancing the environment in a manner that is already touching lives in a refreshing manner. In the last couple of years, he has been steering the bank in the direction that is stimulating to the global cause for the preservation and protection of the environment to the extent that environmental and climate change concerns now constitute an important plank of FCMB’s corporate social responsibility. Even in the far North, he is already working with Katsina State Government to provide 100,000 plant seedlings to reduce loss of farmlands; and providing hundreds of efficient clean cook stoves that make use of agricultural wastes to families. Already Lagos State Government has awarded him Environmental Ambassadore Emeritus for his commitment to environmental advocacy. This is a clear demonstration of a bankers passion fot the environment.
