Nigeria-UK actress, Yemisi Akande popularly known as Yemisi Eleto is dead. gistmaster.com gathered that the beautiful actress who is also niece to another prominent actor, Segun Remi (popularly known as Chief Karan) died on Saturday 25 June 2011 in the UK. She was aged 39.
Yemisi,whose first appearance was in a Yoruba movie ' Omo Mummy' is the CEO of Yemak films with office on Camberwell road. She left Nigeria for the US about 18 years ago but relocated to Britain in 2006.

In 2008, Yemisi released her popular movie 'Eleto' (Wedding Planner). She has worked with several known names in Yoruba movie industry in the past.
As Nigerians in the UK mourn the actress, prayers also pour for the two kids she left behind. The eldest is barely 8 years old.
