Tayo Amusan: Polo Player, Executive Business Profile

Tayo Amusan, a Business Administration graduate of the University of Atlanta, showed interest in it. Amusan, a big player in the real estate sector, is currently the Chairman and Managing Director of Persianas Nigeria Limited, incorporated in 1990 to develop luxury residential, retail, entertainment and hospitality centres
as well as commercial developments in Nigeria.

Amusan, who has over 25 years of experience in real estate, is recognised for successfully exploiting a supply gap for residential accommodation for a select niche of the upper income expatriate market.

His biggest project has been the world-class Palms Shopping Mall, which is regarded as the benchmark for retail development in West Africa.

Tayo serves on the board of Southern Petroleum, African Paints Nigeria Limited and is also the Chairman of Resourcery Limited.

Tayo is married to beautiful Ayo Amusan.

Ayo holds an MSc in Risk Management from Cass Business School, City University, London. She has been involved in the retail industry since 1998 working for a fashion retail company in the United Kingdom, and was predominantly involved in strategy and budgeting.

In 2006 she became the M.D of Persianas Nigeria Ltd, a luxury residential property development company, where she overhauled company operations in marketing and management of its portfolio of corporate clients, mainly multinational companies and embassies.

Upon being appointed Director of Retail in 2011, Ayo was a predominant figure in the team tasked with the now successful acquisition of the Hugo Boss, PUMA and Lacoste brands under the Persianas portfolio. Today, this feather in her cap has in no small part boosted the Group's international profile and provided an excellent launchpad into further expansion and franchise acquisition.

Ayo's business acumen transcends commercial sectors demonstrated by her role as Director of The GET Arena. She also sits on the board of Seaview Investments
