Someone  asked me questions some days back regarding the rift between Don Jazzy and Dbanj. He said the Nigerian media have helped the Mo Hits crew in making millions of dollars. I agree that the media have been active partners in the hype of the two UK returnees who later became the favourite of music fans within and outside the country. Gistmaster broke the story of their rift when the two decided to go their seperate ways. "Niyi, if i want to believe the latest news in town, Don Jazzy and Dbanj lived in a rented apartment, despite all the millions they have been making from endorsements, performance and albums?"  "They have both moved their things out of the apartment! If the house belonged to the two of them or to one, both would have not moved out. Buying cars and living the life of a superman is good but these guys should check out their American Idols, they buy good houses in the property market.That is even going too far,Don Jazzy and Dbanj should emulate ...

When the news broke out that Don Jazzy had moved out of the Lekki apartment he shares with Dbanj, fans and friends of the duo in the entertainment industry where shocked.After we did the story on the alleged rift between the duo, a highly dependable source disclosed that the issue is not a rumour but true.We wish that these young millionaires who have changed the face of entertainment in Nigeria would have a re-think and keep the industry flowing in the right direction. There are strong indications that the silent war between Don Jazzy and Dbanj might be getting out of hand. D'banj has finally opened up why he could not make it for this year's Channel O awards.In a statement made available to Gistmaster this morning by the publicist of Dbanj,there is no ill feelings between Dbanj,Mohits and the organizers of the award. Dbanj did not attend Channel O awards because he could not fly the night he was billed to fly. He was booked on a Business Class seat but placed on waiting list, so on getting there, he and his crew discovered there was no seat available for D'banj.  All efforts to get him to fly that night proved abortive.

BARRING any unforeseen circumstance, the alleged copyright infringement case Afro hip hop superstar, D’banj was planning to institute against fellow artiste, Kelechi Obinna Orji aka Kelly Hansome, may have been settled out of the court room.   The star’s media company, Media Image Managers that broke the news of the now settled rift last week, in another statement, confirmed the latest development.   Mo’ Hits (D’banj’s record company) had alleged that the D’banj’s song, I’m Feeling Good , was leaked in the process of recording and it finally found its way into Kelly Hansome’s hands that quickly did a ‘remix’.   The statement read: “Do take notice that Mo'Hits Records Limited is the lawful owner of rights to the recorded material ( I’m Feeling Good ) being touted by one Kelechi Obinna Orji a.k.a.
