Scores of Nollywood celebrities gathered for a talk of the town birthday shindig, which held last night (Friday 2 January 2008) hosted in honour of Nigerian star actress, Uche Jombo at the popular hangout, Club Papas in Victoria Island, Lagos
Ramsey Noah, Sandra Achums, Susan Peters,Mercy Johnson,Kunle Afolayan and several others made it to the party, hosted by Frank Okamigbo, fondly regarded as the fastest rising hangout operator inNigeria Lagos
Uche Jombo was all smiles as she and guests were given a first class treatment at the hangout.She later told gistmaster.com shortly before the event that she got a wondrous gift from a female friend that really made her very excited. She would not disclose the gift but said "Its a nice gift really surprised her.On her new year resolution, Uche told gistmaster.com that she found out that most people make promises in a new year or when they add a new age only to break it one or two months later. Right now, the Afro Hollywood 2008 Best Actress (English category) award winner noted that she plans to take her the Uche Jombo brand to the next level.
Uche added another year on 28 December 2008. There was a party in her Yaba, home. Another one took place that evening at Number 10, the club operated by ex-super Eagles of Nigeria master dribbler, Austun 'Jay Jay'Okocha and wife, Nkechi.

Tsk!Tsk!Tsk! Haba, why does Uche look so plain at her own birthday bash? The afro wig is horrendous, silk is not a big girl's best friend added to the fact that it is purple, was she going for the Barney look? No makeup, no style, no fashion sense, was it a surprise party? Because I cannot understand why she looks like she was on her way to the Yaba market when someone told her to drop by Club Papas or na wetin be the name of the joint sef.

WOW, I really like this girl fashion and simple appearance. No make-up talkless of much. Infact this is total simplicity and she is very beautiful even without make-up. I like her.
