The true fashion of this generation is ‘born again’ and that would have been one of the reasons, Funmi Adeyeri calls her brand of exotic bags ‘Re-birth Collection’. It is ready to fire up and make a new bold statement with unprecedented strength of style.

Funmi’s innocent look and alluring smile is just as infectious as the luxurious look of her creative leather bags.

Movers and shakers of Nigerian social class, who stormed her exhibition and sales at Terra Kulture, Victoria Island, Lagos, in Lagos in July 2009, described her handbags as masterpiece. Almost everyone desired one and they got it at a price that is value for their money.

Guests at the event included Chief (Mrs) Teju Phillip, a one time commissioner for Special Duties in Lagos and daughter of billionaire, Chief Dehinde Fernandez, Leila Fowler, star actress Genevieve Nnaji and her friend Ndidi, Rita Dominic (another Nollywood actress with a strength of style),Ifeoma Williams , (a one time face of Lux and CEO of Fruition), Barrister Seun Rasaki, Bola Austen-Peters (The CEO of Terra Kulture),Esosa Anenih,Linda Priddy,Omowunmi Akinnifesi,Yemi Shittu-Balogun,the marketing Consultant for re-birth and others.

In her statement, Funmi says, she Rebirth aims to create a luxury-thoughtfully designed,finely crafted and flawlessly finished-put simply, an object of desire.She envisaged that Rebirth is sure going to be a global brandmavailable in major fashion outlets across the globe.
Funmi the 26 year old Nigerian girl behind the work of art is a graduate of Information Technology systems from University of Sussex in the United Kingdom.She worked as a project manager with IBM before proceeding to the London School of Fashion to enable her achieve her childhood dream in the style industry.
Funmi had always admired the way her father build a huge success out of his leather business, now it is her turn to write her name on the leather of history as one of the remarkable architect of the style kingdom.

  2. the bags are really wonderful it makes a whole lot of sense,and am proud of her kuz she is a nigerian, never thought nigerians could pull this off.only saw this on the net wish i was there myself,pls whenevr theres another fashion show or sumthing let people overseas no too,my friends would love this work it gives me hope for africa when i see things lik these.kip it up funmi.nigeria indeed has a future
