Obi Asika is no less a titan in Nigeria, Africa's leading show business capital.He has made a mark for himself and his company Storm 360 has become a force to reckon in the entertainment industry.The company is credited to have been engaged by more blueship companies than any other of its kind in the country.
Obi comes from a rich background (His father having been the first governor of the old Eastern Region and his mother a former minister under the Olusegun Obasanjo civilian administration)
But that is not where it ends for Obi.He has worked his way to the top of the ladder using his dedication to hardwork, connection and a team of experts in the industry.
On Monday 18 January 2009, Obi invited http://www.gistmaster.com/ to a Press conference at Swe Bar,inside City Mall,Lagos Island. It didn't didn't start on time but when it finally took off it was a smooth ride to excitement withe the man behind the wheels of Storm 360 telling us his company's vision plan for 2010.
Obi disclosed that they have been dedicated to the industry right from 1990 when they started work with Junior and Pretty, the most popular Afro Hip Hop group of that time.In 2008, the company launched fully as STORM 360.Today, it has become a reference point in the industry.Members of management of the company at the moment includes Tonye Faloughi,Olisa Adibua,Nkiru Asika and Tola Odunsi.
The company, http://www.gistmaster.com/ gathered has continued to dominate the enetertanment industry with their involvement in big budget televison shows,musical concerts etc. Aside working with telecom giant,Etisalat,MNET,variou state governments,MTN etc,Storm also has artistes such as Sasha,Tosin Martins, Sauce Kid,GT Guiterman,YQ and others on its label.
This year, Obi assures the media that its involvement in the Nigerian entertainment industry would be bigger and better.It also said they are working on a big budget documentary drama that on Nigeria since the 19th century.
