As preparations mount for this year's French Week in Lagos and the Nigerian Next Supermodel (NNSM), the organizers made a pledge that it be one of the most exciting events to come out of Africa.

Present at the press conference on Friday 12 November 2010 at Eko Hotel, Lagos were diplomatic officials, members of the French and Nigerian chamber of commerce, Aju Elumelu, an international singer based in the United States,Mrs. Joan Okorodudu the founder/ CEO of Nigerian Next Supermodel and style writers from various media houses. The French week is billed to kick off on 19 November 2010 with various activities lined up to make it it memorable. This year's Nigerian Next supermodel would be held on the grand finale (26 November 2010)

"It is a remarkable working relationship. It is based on mutual respect and understanding that the French people have for Nigeria" disclosed Okorodudu at the press conference. Adding that the French people should be commended for their invaluable contributions to Modelling, fashion and creative arts in general in Nigeria.
Meanwhile, gistmaster.com gathered that the contestants for this year's Nigeria Next Supermodel are now in camp. We gathered that it is an annual tradition to put the girls in camp so that they can train and learn more about modelling. It would also enable the organizers recognize the ones with good character, said an official of NNSM.
