Another high society wedding if things should work out well is imminent. And this time it involves yet another silver spoon kids.

The sizzling love affair between Irebosa, daughter of embattled former governor of Edo State, Lucky Igbinedion and son of ex Deputy Senate President speaker,Ibrahim Mantu will soon bring together the high and migty personality across the country. 

 Though the affair is still being shrouded in secrecy, your soar away Metropolix Weekly got wind of it at the secret birthday organized by the junior Mantu for Irebosa. No camera except the official photographer invited was allowed at the gig. Irebosa, a frivolous young girl was all over her prince charming all through the gig. And to tell you how solid the party was, the very quiet son of Globacom boss, Paddy Adenuga was at the party and he also came with a handbag. Trouble however started when Paddy was leaving and decided to take another handbag home, the abandoned handbag we learnt disagreed and insisted she's the rightful owner of Paddy. How it was eventually solved is what we can't really say.

 Ladoja set to pick Nike Akande's sister as wife no 9

If there's only one unrepentant polygamist we have in this part of the world, it's no other person than the former governor of Oyo- State, Chief Rasheed     Adewolu Ladoja.

Not many people know that the Ekerin Olubadan( 4th to the paramount ruler of Ibadanland) already have eight (8) wives and as if that is not enough, this politician who's a sworn enemy of Akala is planning to take another woman as his 9th wife. 

 Lolade who is just in her early 30 and who's a younger sister of one time Minister for Industries, Chief Mrs. Nike Akande, the pretty has remained the apple  of Ladoja's eyes as she gets whatever she needs without any hitch. She, we also gather has Ladoja's ears, Chief an insider squealed to us does not joke with this Lolade. The two lovers we gathered met at a function in Ibadan and sat close to each other, the body chemistry worked and that marked the beginning of what is about leading to marriage. Mrs. Nike Akandewe is not in support of the union, now that the two lovers are discussing marriage, the fear of her sister becoming the 9th wife might be baffling Nike Akande.

Aisha Babangida & Father's new wife at war?

One might wondering if Aisha Babangida, the heiress apparent to former military President, General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida (rtd) meant so well for her father when she got him one of her friends to marry in place of her late mum. If the rumour reaching us from the Minna, Niger State based Hilltop Mansion of the Babangidas is to be considered, the house we learn might be in disorder right now. 

 Reason being that the new wife who's a friend to Aisha has been having a running battle with her sister-in-law. Though IBB and some other family members have intervened but the new wife we gathered is not comfortable with the domineering power exercised by Aisha in the house. 

 Aisha we gathered hardly stay in her hubby's Gusau's government house as she prefers to spend much time with her father.

The new wife is not happy with the way Aisha always wanted to cook for her father despite the fact that the new wife who's a good cook is around. A born princess, the new family has been appealed to.
