ROCHAS OKOROCHA ANNOUNCED WINNER OF IMO GUBER ELECTION

Owelle Rochas Okorocha has been declared winner of the just concluded re-run election of the governorship seat in Imo State, Nigeria.Rochas won the election , which was conducted on Friday 6 May 2011 ahead of the incumbent governor of the state, Mr. Ikedi Ohakim who contested on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Okorocha contested on the platform of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA)

According to the election result monitored by gistmaster.com today 7 May 2011,Rochas won the election by getting 336,859 votes, while Ohakim got 290,496 votes. Senator Ifeayin Ararume of Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) scored 107,068 votes.

    Imolites are happy.thank God for making our votes count.if not 4 God ikiri would have suceeded in rigging dis election.i also thank God 4 d Rec sent 2 imo 4 d supplementary election.God bless him.     More griz 2 ur elbow nnayi mazi Rochas Owelle Okorocha.Wit his litle idiosyncrasy ohakim tot he ws goin 2 win,afta putin up sum eccentric behaviour by beatin a priest....'ohakim u ar gud 4 ntin'.Free education is wot no 1 nt even d fed.Govt ws able 2 provide bt Rochas did it promising to introduce d free education in 36states+fct. Rochas dnt 4get ur promises.
