Nigeria's finance minister, Mrs.Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has denied reports that she issued a threat to President Goodluck Jonathan that she would resign if the latter reversed the removal of oil Subsidy.Okonjo Iweala said this through her tweeter handle.
Nigerians have been protesting against the removal of fuel susbsidy, which skyrocked the price of the essential commondity to 65 Naira per litre to 150 Naira.
It would be recalled that Mrs. Okonjo-Iweala was
also a Minister for Finance durning the administration of President Olusegun Obasanjo but she resigned under controversial circumstances shortly after she was moved to the External Affairs ministry.
