 Terry Waya, Nigerian born businessman and socialite proved his worth when his 40th birthday attracted 5 governors, senators and businessmen to the UK. Sources also hinted that some pretty girls also made it to the party from Nigeria courtesy of their rich boyfriends.

 Chief Lucky Igbinedion the governor of Edo state had a party for Terry Waya, at his private UK residence a day before.
Terry Waya’s party would go down in history as one of the most talked about in Nigeria. It reportedly cost whopping 100,000 pounds sterling to stage.
The birthday party took place on June 19, 2001 at the Le Meridien Hotel, Picadilly, West End, London. 

 The 5 governors who attended the
party at the time are Chief James Ibori (Delta), Jolly Nyame (Taraba), Abubakar Audu (Kogi),Ahmed Markafi (Kaduna) and Orji Uzor Kalu (Abia).

  Gistmaster gathered the first lady of Benue state at the time,Mrs. George Akume also represented her husband.Other guests include Nigeria former senate presidents, Chief Pius Okadigbo and Chief Evans Enwerem, Ijebu born popular socialite, Ademola Adekogbe, Chairman of FCMB, Otunba Micheal Olasubomi Balogun, Tony Elumelu of UBA group,Ben Bruce of Silverbird Group, John Abebe, younger brother to Nigeria former first lady, Stella Obasanjo, Billionaire and well-connected businessman, Ron Chagoury of Chagoury & Chagoury Group, Chief Dele Momodu of Ovation Group, Senator Tokunbo Afikuyomi, Olu Adewunmi (he was the MC), and Segun Awolowo Jnr. Terry’s secret lover at the time, Eno Olafioye also showed up at the party.
