One of the biggest fabric merchants who is not just popular but sells exclusive fabrics on the Island is Alhaja Mosun Masha. She is the Mother of Titi, a Lagos big babe and pretty wife of Fuji King, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal.

Mosun is the wife of Lagos businessman and Islamic Scholar of repute, Alhaji Toheeb Masha, who schooled and lived all his life in Saudi Arabia. Alhaji Toheeb Masha is the “Olori Oniwasi” of Lagos. Alhaja Mosun Masha is from the popular Ogbara family in Ikorodu.

The name of her outfit is M.M fabric and she has been running the business for over 30 years. Just as Alhaja Mosun plays big in fabric business, her pretty daughter Titilope Ayinde Marshal Anifowose also runs one of the biggest fabrics shops in Surulere. 

Titi is the CEO of Al-Fathia Fabric Store, a giant orange colour building located on the popular Adeniran Ogunsanya Street, Surulere Lagos.

From Folawiyo, Gutter, Saudi Eko, Idumota, and Nmandi Azikwe in Lagos Island where over 2000 fabric merchants do their business, it is only a new comer who wouldn’t know who Alhaja Mosun Masha is. 

Her business brand M.M Fabric shop located on Samuel Street in Idumota precisely “Eyin Eyo” (behind Idomot Eyo statue) is always besieged by A-list celebs who want 100 percent Swiss Lace and other exclusive clothing materials. In fact many of the cloth merchants will gladly tell you that if you want 100 percent swiss lace, only “Iya Titi” sells that in Idumota. She also sells some exclusive fabrics like “HOH” Lace, Couture Lace, Chattily Lace  which are only sold according to current forex rate.

She also sells exclusive fabrics for men like Osaka 100 percent swiss lace, Atiku (100 percent cotton).

How was she able to make her daughter Titi Masha, a graduate of Business Law from the prestigious Coventry University England learn the rudiment of the fabric business, what is their intimate story like?

City People investigation revealed that Titi was born into the business many years ago. When she was age 10, her Mother made sure that after school hours, she would visit her fabrics shop located at 15 John  Street, Lagos at the time. She was just fascinated by the eye catchy colours way back then as a toddler and was always excited at the celebrities who thronged her Mother’s shop for exclusive fabrics.

Immediately after her graduation, her mother, Alhaja Mosun Masha got her first shop at No 1 Adeniran Ogunsanya Street where she started Al Fathia fabrics. She has not just been able to build her brand too, she has been able to build it to an enviable height. Her shop has now been moved to a big giant house that stocks exclusive fabrics for society A-listers.

Titi learnt the ropes quickly from her mother and she has been able to make her mark. You won’t stop admiring Titi and her mum when you see them at parties as they often times attend together.

Those who know a little about Titi and her Mum, Mosun often refer to them as 5 and 6. This is because Titi is an only child.
